This workshop is for anyone exploring pharmacy careers, those who plan to apply to pharmacy school, and those who have been accepted at a pharmacy school.
Hannah Naguib ('18), 1st year pharmacist student at University of North Carolina, Elizabeth Davenport, pharmacist, and Vince Workman from the Notre Dame Wellness Center, will discuss why they decided to go into pharmacy, suggestions for individuals getting ready to apply for pharmacy school, advice about what to expect for those who have been accepted to pharmacy school, and a perspective about the joys and challenges of working in this field.
Vince Workman is a pharmacist at the Notre Dame Wellness Center. He is a graduate of Butler University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. He has been the pharmacy manager at the Notre Dame Wellness Center for 7 years and heads a diabetes management program at the ND Wellness Center.
Elizabeth Davenport is a pharmacist completing a first-year post-graduate community pharmacy residency with Walgreens and Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a graduate of Butler University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. She is passionate about patient education regarding chronic disease state management and specialty pharmacy.
