One-on-One Career Counseling Appointments: Students have the option of scheduling in-person or virtual individual appointments with a counselor through Handshake.

15-minute Virtual Drop-in Appointments: For your convenience, we offer 15-minute drop-in appointments on Zoom with a counselor to ask quick questions, review a resume or cover letter. Monday - Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Scheduling opens up every morning at 9:00 am.

Appointment Types
On Handshake you will find a variety of appointment types, based on your class year and interests. Here is some insight into the various appointments we offer:
- Discerning Your Career Path for sophomores, juniors, and seniors: Meet with a counselor if you are discerning what you want to major in or what career path you wish to pursue.
- Industry-Specific One-on-One Career Counseling: Meet with a counselor to learn more about the recruiting specifics of a particular industry in which you are interested.
- Appointment by Career Counselor Name: Meet with a specific career counselor to learn more about the recruiting specifics of their industry expertise
- International Student Appointment: Meet with an advisor to learn the nuances of the international student job/internship search.

Exploding Offers: A brief consultation to discuss an internship or job offer extended by an organization that has given a reply deadline of fewer than two weeks. These are typically offered Monday-Friday, 4:30-5:00 PM during peak recruiting times.
