Why use Forage?

  • Work simulations give you the opportunity to complete a simulated work task to see if you enjoy it.
  • Forage projects help you learn about a prospective employer.
  • Completing a Forage project shows an employer that you are interested in learning more about working for them.
  • When you sign up to complete a project, you will answer a few questions about your career interests. This information is shared with the employer so that they can get to know you and share emails about future internship and job opportunities. Please only share what you feel comfortable sharing.
  • While completing simulations is not the same as a formal internship, the flexibility you have to complete many simulations over a short period of time can give you helpful insight into a particular employer or the type of skills you should develop. Keep in mind that Forage is not an internship and you should not represent participation in a Forage as such.
